Your first visit will usually be a consultation designed to determine your dental needs and wishes, through both discussion and examination.

It will consist of a brief dental history, thorough examination of teeth, gums and oral tissues. X-rays, photographs and study casts of your teeth might be taken.

The first visit lasts for about 30-45 minutes and in most cases is sufficient for us to design a scheme of treatment specific to your needs. Cost, duration, advantages and disadvantages are discussed. We have a vast selection of color photographs of our completed cases and can usually find a situation comparable to your own, to demonstrate the possibilities of treatment.

If problems are more severe it may well be necessary to have a second visit to prepare a fully considered treatment plan.
