When a tooth is fractured, has a large old filling, or is severely damaged by decay, the placement of a crown (or cap) is recommended. The crown strengthens and protects the tooth and helps it to regain its lost aesthetics and function. Crowns can be made from various materials like porcelain, porcelain-fused-to-metal (metal can be a precious or non-precious metal), metal crown with porcelain facing or a complete metal crown. Fitting a crown requires at least two visits to the dentists office.

A bridge replaces one or more missing teeth. When tooth loss occurs, we may recommend the placement of a bridge.
