Crown

When a tooth is fractured, has a large old filling, or is severely damaged by decay, the placement of a crown (or cap) is recommended. The crown strengthens and protects the tooth and helps it to regain its lost aesthetics and function. Crowns can be made from various materials like porcelain, porcelain-fused-to-metal (metal can be a precious or non-precious metal), metal crown with porcelain facing or a complete metal crown.

Fitting a crown requires at least two visits to the dentists office.

Bridge

A bridge replaces one or more missing teeth. When tooth loss occurs, we may recommend the placement of a bridge. With one or more teeth missing, the remaining teeth can drift out of position leading to a poor bite and improper chewing. This would eventually lead to joint pain. Drifting of teeth also leads to poor oral hygiene causing tooth decay and gum problems. We do crown and bridge from a variety of materials from ceramic fused to precious alloy, nickel free crowns, All ceramic crowns to robotic crowns and bridges (LAVA from 3M which come with 15 year warranty) as per the patients needs.

Fitting a bridge requires at least two visits to the dentists office.
